Pressure Cooking Instructions
Remove meat from package. Rinse under cool water. Place meat in Instant Pot with seasoning packet and one quart of cold water. Close lid with venting knob turned to seal and cook on high pressure for 175 minutes, and end with a natural release of 15 minutes. Test tenderness of meat with fork or tongs. If necessary, continue to cook on high pressure in ten minute increments until desired tenderness is achieved. Remove meat from Instant pot and rest at room temperature for 10-15 minutes. After resting, slice meat against the grain for serving.
Oven Cooking Instructions
Preheat oven to 225 degrees. Remove meat from package. Rinse under cool water. Place meat in a deep baking pan. Open and add contents of seasoning packet, add with enough cold water to completely cover meat by 1-2". Cover pan tightly with foil and cook in oven for 12 hours. Remove from oven and test tenderness with a fork or tongs. If necessary, continue to cook in 30 minute increments until desired tenderness is achieved. Remove meat from pan and allow to rest at room temperature for 10-15 minutes. After resting, slice meat against the grain for serving.
